The guys have been working really hard at creating these realistic rock wall facings from scratch. I would say they have been very successful at it. It looks great!

The Kingman Railroad Museum will be celebrating National Train Day this coming Saturday from 10:00am - 4:00pm with:

You can purchase your raffle tickets at the museum during normal operating hours this Wednesday, through Saturday at 3:00pm. Winners need not be present to win.
All week long we are selling $1 raffle tickets.The prizes include 3 different model train sets and winners do not need to be present Saturday. Tickets are $1 each, or 6 tickets for $5. Come on down Wednesday through Friday to buy them in advance, or buy them next Saturday (by 3:00pm) at our Train Day Celebration Open House. Okay, so they weren't really crumbling but they ARE coming down and being replaced with all new cliff scaping. We can't wait! A sample of the new wall texture was brought in by Dennis and it looked pretty realistic.

The Whistlestop Railroad Club will be hosting a series of "HOW TO.." railroad modeling classes. The first class is February 4th and will focus on designing layouts. Come and learn all about basic layout design, track sizes, designing curves and planning switches and such! to edit.
The Whistle Stop Railroad Club members chose to have a Potluck this year and the food did not disappoint. It was a very nice event.
